His mother was born in a conversational Japanese family and married young due to his unplanned pregnancy. His father's alcoholism led to abuse, causing his mother to flee. Despite that, his father would allways looked for her in search of money and other things and in one of this encounter he ended up killing her. Following this, Akira started living alone , relying on his mother's friends and resorting to theft for survival. In one of these robberies he was caught by the police and taken to the orphanage/hospital where he met Tein and eventually escaped with him
